Brown Bag Films will be in The Ark, Temple Bar, next week doing a Comedy Animation Workshop as part of The Ark’s FunnyFest - A Festival of Comedy for Children in one and a half hour workshops the children will work together and learn how to turn their favourite joke into an animated film.

They will design, animate and voice their own characters and their short comedic film will be uploaded online and available for download the next day so that they can show their masterpieces off to their friends and family.

The workshops are designed for children ranging from ages 5 - 12 years old, split into two groups:

Ages 5-7: Cut-out Animation
Working together as a group, using paper characters to bring your funny film to life.

Ages 8-12: 3D Stop Motion Animation Basics
Working as a group to create 3D plasticine characters to star in your stop-motion film.
