The 88th Academy Awards took place in Hollywood on Sunday 28th February, hosted by comedian Chris Rock.
And it's been a banner year for Irish films, with a total of nine Irish-associated nominations in the running!
Big animation winners on the night included Pixar who took home the Best Animated Feature Film award for Inside Out and Gabriel Osorio and Pato Escala’s Bear Story which won the award for Best Animated Short!
We were delighted to see Mark Rylance, the voice of Flop in Bing, receive the Best Supporting Actor award for his role in Bridge of Spies!
