The 6th Montreal Stop-Motion Film Festival kicks off today celebrating the talents of all stop-motion artists!

This year's edition boasts talks with Robot Chicken's Animation Director Alex Kamer and LAIKA studios Creative Supervisor of the puppet fabrication department Georgina Hayns!

Alex will talk about some of the highlights of his career in stop-motion before moving onto a behind-the-scenes look at the production of Robot Chicken, while Georgina will give a talk about the making of the handcrafted stop-motion feature film from LAIKA studio's The Boxtrolls, which is released today!

More than 60 stop-motion films from twenty-five countries will be presented on the big screen.

There will be plenty of talks, guest artists, and family screenings to keep stop-motion enthusiasts of all ages entertained!
