We've got some TERRIFIC news!
The 42nd Daytime Emmy Nominations have been announced and both Peter Rabbit and Doc McStuffins have received nominations!
WINNING the Outstanding Individual Achievement Award in Animation for the second year in a row is Storyboard Artist Mårten Jönmark for Peter Rabbit!
We'va also received TWO further nominations:
Outstanding Directing in an Animated Program
Peter Rabbit
Supervising Director David McCamley
Episodic Director Dino Athanassiou
Animation Director Maurizio Parimbelli
David McCamley, Director of Peter Rabbit at Brown Bag Films, said,
“Working on Peter Rabbit has been such an amazing journey. The Emmys are the Oscars of the television industry so receiving this nomination for directing in such a competitive category is a real honour. It’s a fitting testimony to our talented and hardworking team here at Brown Bag Films and our partners at Silvergate Media, Penguin UK and Nickelodeon USA.”
“I am so happy that David, Maurizio, Dino and Mårten are recognised with these nominations. Peter Rabbit is a very layered and detailed show and it is very satisfying that all the hard work, creatively guided by David, is acknowledged in this way,” stated Peter Rabbit Producer Erik Vignau.
Peter Rabbit Animation Director, Maurizio Parimbelli, said,
“It’s brilliant news for the show and the team to be acknowledged by the Daytime Emmys. It was a great privilege for me to be involved in this project and to work with so many talented people.”
On his Individual Achievement award, Peter Rabbit Storyboard Supervisor, Mårten Jönmark said,
“It’s incredible to be recognised in such a prestigious way for Peter Rabbit, a project that has been a real joy to work on. It’s such an honour to receive this award two consecutive years running and a real testament to the series itself and the passion it inspires.”
Outstanding Writing in a Preschool Animated Program

Doc McStuffins Creator, Chris Nee, said,
“The writing team of Doc McStuffins is thrilled for their second nomination in this category. Of course, we wouldn't be nominated without all of the amazing actors, artists and musicians who bring our words to life. This is an honour for everyone involved in the show.”
The winners of the Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation award were chosen from over 130 entries by a live, juried panel in Los Angeles and will be awarded the prestigious Emmy Award at our Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards on April 24, 2015.
The Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards gala will be held at the Universal Hilton on Friday, April 24th, 2015.
