Doc McStuffins Wins at NAACP Image Awards 2016!

The 47th NAACP Image Awards winners have been announced and we're delighted to see Doc McStuffins has won the award for Outstanding Children's Program!

The NAACP Image Awards is the nation’s premier multi-cultural awards show.  The event celebrates the outstanding achievements and performances of people of color in the arts (television, recording, literature, motion picture and writing & directing), as well as those individuals or groups who promote social justice through their creative endeavors.

Doc McStuffins was nominated in the Outstanding Children's Program category alongside Dora and Friends, K.C. Undercover, Little Ballers and Project MC2.

Doc McStuffins creator Chris Nee accepted the award on Friday night at the ceremony in Los Angeles.

Huge congrats also to the wonderful Loretta Devine who voices Hallie in Doc McStuffins on her win for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance, up against Aisha Tyler (Archer), Audra McDonald (Doc McStuffins), Wanda Sykes (Penn Zero), and Jeffrey Wright (The Good Dinosaur).
