We're delighted to announce the appointment of Brown Bag Films' CEO Cathal Gaffney to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) for our parent company 9 Story Media Group!
Cathal remains at the helm here in Brown Bag Films, which was acquired by 9 Story last year, but will add the role of COO for 9 Story Media Group, overseeing production, technology and HR.
Commenting on the appointment Cathal Gaffney said,

Other recent organisational changes include 9 Story’s co-founding partner, former COO and senior VP, Steve Jarosz, taking up the role of Executive Vice President, responsible for production financing and compliance.
Natalie Osborne, 9 Story’s MD, becomes Chief Strategy Officer, focusing on distribution, consumer products, acquisitions, marketing and business development.
Natalie Dumoulin will continue as VP of Creative Affairs, and oversee a unified development team on both sides of the Atlantic.
Blake Tohana has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer, having most recently served in the same role at fellow Canadian firm Tricon Films & Television.
