Brown Bag Films and Peli Cases Ireland helped raise €1.2K for To Russia With Love charity.

Peli Products Ireland may be best known for their hard cases … but it turns out they are all big softies.

When Brown Bag Films recently won some Peli products at the Limerick Film Festival we got in touch with Cathy O’Donovan who manages Limerick based Peli Products Ireland to ask if we could raffle the prize and donate all proceeds to Irish NGO To Russia With Love who do amazing work with orphaned and abandoned children in Russia. Not only did she not mind, she very generously sent up even more Peli Products to add to the haul!

Given the brilliant reputation Peli Products have, the tickets were snapped up and one raffle later we are delighted to report that we raised a whopping €1215 for To Russia With Love!

Also in the mix, were two coveted crocheted bears from Allison Hoffman in Austin Texas, who offered to crochet the Pascha bear from our short film Anya and share the plans online with her fans. To date, over a 100 bears have been made by Allison’s fans and sent to the kids in orphanages in Russia.
