The winners of the Light In Motion Awards 2014 for Best Irish Short Film, Best Documentary, Best Irish Animation and Best Animated Short were announced prior to the closing gala screening at the Foyle Film Festival this weekend.

And we're thrilled to announce that An Ode to Love was awarded for Best Irish Animation!

An Ode to Love Director Matthew Darragh picked up the award at the Foyle Film Festival where An Ode to Love also made its premiere screening!

“We’re delighted to receive this award for Best Irish Animation. It feels like a great acknowledgement of all the work the team have put in over the last year. Thanks so much to the Foyle Film Festival for the award and also for looking after us. We loved being there, and it was great to see An Ode to Love premiering in the company of so many strong animated films,” said Director Matthew Darragh.
